More Than Just Dispensing Your Medicine

Our pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer more than just handing over your prescription. From checking for interactions between medicines to explaining how and when to take your treatment, we take time to make sure you feel confident and informed about what you are taking and why.

If you have concerns about a medicine or a side effect you are experiencing, you do not need an appointment. Walk in to either of our Bradford branches or contact us and our team will be happy to help.

Understanding Your NHS Prescriptions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

Yes. You can nominate Robertsons Pharmacy as your preferred pharmacy through your GP surgery or via the NHS App. Once nominated, your GP can send prescriptions directly to us electronically, so your medicine is ready for collection without you needing to drop off a paper prescription.

Speak to our team at either Bradford branch, and we can help you set up a repeat prescription arrangement. Your GP must authorise the repeat first, after which we can manage the ordering and collection process on your behalf, making it easier to stay on top of your regular medication.

You may be entitled to free prescriptions if you are under 16, aged 60 or over, pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months, have a qualifying medical condition such as diabetes or epilepsy, or receive certain means-tested benefits. Our team can help you check your entitlement and complete the relevant exemption certificate if applicable.
